	Summer Maze Inspired by really bright fabrics used here in 5 designs in 12 different colours, this striking quilt with a centre of different sized squares turned on point is further enhanced by the addition of plain black and coloured stripes. The optical illusion effect is emphasised by the quilting in rainbow colours and straight lines. Other examples of this easy to piece design will be shown for inspiration. You can easily achieve piecing this quilt top in a day. Nothing could be simpler!			Porter's Puzzle From Christine's new book "Tessellation Quilts" be Inspired by Mediaeval and Victorian tile patterns. Christine has created a simple, original tessellated design which is made easily by strip piecing and 4.5" squares. Learn the simple way to make stunning visual designs with blocks which turn, twist and interlock. The effect makes the quilt look complex, but it isn’t! You can piece it easily in a day and there are several colour options to choose from. This quilt can be like a mosaic tiled floor or by using fun fabric you can create a completely different look, all by using the same block design.


	The Fan Club A brand new class using a simple template where you can make some amazing quilts. Christine demonstrates a really easy method of making fans which can be put together in a variety of combinations. From a cushion to a bed quilt, with the fan design the sky is the limit. You can use up your stash or collect more fabrics for a theme. Come and be inspired by Christine’s quilts and join the Fan Club!			Workshops Classes last 6 hours including a lunch break. Facilities needed include adequate room for students with wall space for a 45" design-wall for each student, adequate plug points for sewing machines for each student and a minimum of 2 irons. Please ensure that the system is not overloaded and that organisers know where the fuse box is and how to secure the power! A car parking space close to the entrance of the classroom is always helpful, as is help with bringing in the items needed for the class. Other Workshops
