Christine has taught, lectured and judged throughout Great Britain and the United States. In addition she regularly teaches in the United States in locations which include Quilt Festival Houston, Quilters Affair Sisters Oregon, Pacific International Quilt Festival, World Quilt & Textile Show, Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival, New Jersey Quilt Festival, Empty Spools Seminar in Asilomar, and Road to California.

In May 2010 Christine was presented with the prestigious Amy Emms Award for Services to British Quilting and has won awards for her quilts in Britain and the USA.

Christine sews exclusively on Husqvarna Viking sewing machines. Christine will be featured in an upcoming episode of the internet The Quilt Show www.thequiltshow.com with Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims, to promote her latest book "A Year in the Life of Sunbonnet Sue" with Darra Williamson.

 

Formerly Co-editor of British Patchwork & Quilting magazine, Christine is now a freelance writer and her quilts are mostly inspired by mediaeval and Victorian tile designs. She has written three other books: "Quilt Designs from Decorative Floor Tiles", "Tessellation Quilts" for which she made over 40 quilts, "Viva Venezia!" based on exquisite floor tile designs from Venice and her latest "A Year in the Life of Sunbonnet Sue".

Christine has made four DVDs: "Let’s Get Started", "From Fabric to Quilt – an inspirational journey", ‘Bindings, Borders & Finishing Touches and "Colour for Quilters".

Working together with Creative Grids, Christine has designed a new ruler which is a 30˚ wedge with an integral circle and a new DVD to go with it based on her new vibrant Colour Wheel.

Christine is the British co-ordinator of the American World Quilt & Textile Show and the Transatlantic Quilt Challenge between British and Californian quilters.
